The International Star for Leadership in Quality Award in France has been won by Amanano Rural Bank.
The bank was able to win the prestigious award thanks to its exceptional business achievements and quality in compliance with the QC 100 criteria.
Honourable In response to the award, Amanano Rural Bank Manager Christian Osei-Bonsu predicted it would propel the bank to unprecedented heights.
The bank received the award at the 2014 International Quality Awards, which were hosted in Paris, France by Business Initiative Directions (BID), a Spanish-registered company.
Jose E. Prieto, president and CEO of BID, presided over the presentation of a plaque to the bank at the Hyatt Regency Paris Etoile Palais des Congres Convention Hall.
The award was presented with a citation highlighting the financial institution’s recognition for excellence.
It added that the bank’s worth and efforts to guarantee client happiness and achieve successful business outcomes had also been acknowledged.
Mr. Osei-Bonsu gave the bank’s customers and shareholders the assurance that management would take all reasonable steps to advance their interests.
Since 2005, the bank has been a part of Ghana’s Club 100.
The Free Zones Board and the University of Education, Winneba, were two other Ghanaian institutions that received honours at the event.
