Amanano Rural Bank
Amanano Rural Bank Limited, with its noble mission, has been a vital cornerstone of economic development in the rural areas of Ghana. Established in 1982, this financial institution has striven to empower farmers, small and medium-scale businesses, and petty traders, catalyzing economic growth and improving the financial health of the rural population.
After its incorporation on March 29, 1982, and the subsequent authorization to commence business on September 7, 1982, the bank achieved another significant milestone in its journey to uplift the rural economy. On October 21, 1983, the Bank of Ghana granted Amanano Rural Bank a Banking License Certificate. This marked the official recognition of the bank as a key financial institution dedicated to rural development in Ghana. Over the years, Amanano Rural Bank has played a pivotal role in providing financial assistance, agricultural loans, and other banking services tailored to the unique needs of rural customers.

Our Accomplishments
In 2016, the Bank was adjudged the Best Rural Bank in Agric Financing and Customer Relations by Premier Brands, Ghana.
On 13th July 2017, the Bank was honored with the Pillars of Modern Ghana Award by WAI – West Africa International Press Limited.
- Amanano Rural Bank has been consistent in the Ashanti Financial Excellence Awards since 2004.
- The Bank has received Gold, Silver, and Bronze Awards from the Ashanti Financial Services Excellence Awards, organized under the auspices of Manhyia Palace, for its immense contribution to the socioeconomic development of Ashanti.
In 2010, the bank was adjudged the Most Innovative and Customer Friendly Rural Bank in Ghana by the Intra-West Africa communication, Publishers of the New Ghanaian Magazine.
The Bank also received the Best Practices Award from the Chartered Institute of Financial and Investment Analyst, Ghana (CIFIAG) for its outstanding performance and excellent growth and sustainability in the Rural Banking Industry on 28th November 2015.
